IndexSignal launches on WordPress.org for Google indexing checks

IndexSignal – SEO Index Monitor for Google is now available in the official WordPress Plugin Directory. The first public release brings FastIndexing's check-first workflow into wp-admin while keeping the web dashboard optional.

Start with a private local scan

The plugin first discovers public posts, pages, WooCommerce products, categories and sitemap URLs inside WordPress. Nothing is sent to FastIndexing and no credit is used until an administrator reviews the URLs and explicitly continues to an online check.

Two free benefits, kept separate

A first website can receive a one-time snapshot of up to 200 URLs. Eligible new accounts also start with 200 trial indexing credits. The snapshot allowance checks page health and available index-status evidence; it does not silently start indexing or D0–D14 monitoring.

Work without leaving WordPress

IndexSignal adds a native overview, per-URL evidence, task and monitoring history, credit controls, list-table actions, bulk actions, a Gutenberg sidebar and Classic Editor support. A newly published or updated page can be checked or prepared for an eligible indexing workflow directly from its WordPress screen.

Check first, then decide

Before a paid workflow starts, IndexSignal checks signals such as HTTP status, robots directives and canonical state, shows exclusions, calculates the server-side cost and asks for confirmation. Technically blocked URLs are surfaced for repair instead of being pushed blindly.

Google still makes the indexing decision

The plugin does not claim to force ordinary pages into Google. Google Search Console is optional, Google's Indexing API is used only where its supported page-type rules apply, and IndexNow serves participating search engines rather than Google. IndexSignal records factual evidence and monitors saved outcomes through Day 14.

English and German from version 0.1.3

The public release includes complete English and German interface text, including the onboarding flow and Gutenberg sidebar. WordPress multisite is supported per subsite; Network Activate is intentionally blocked so every website connection remains separately scoped and revocable.

Takeaway

The WordPress release turns IndexSignal into an optional native interface for the same account, credits, tasks and reports used by the web dashboard. Start locally, inspect the evidence and approve only the URLs and workflow you actually want.
