IndexNow adoption grows — but still not Google
IndexNow continues to spread across CMSs and CDNs as a default integration, speeding up discovery on participating engines.
The good
One ping quickly notifies Bing, Yandex, Seznam and others — great for multi-engine visibility with near-zero effort.
The caveat
Google has not implemented IndexNow. For ordinary Google URLs use sitemaps, internal links and GSC URL Inspection; Google's Indexing API is limited to supported JobPosting and BroadcastEvent pages.
Takeaway
Enable IndexNow for Bing/Yandex coverage — just don't expect it to move anything in Google on its own.
